UK 2-axle 7 plank Open Wagon Enginespec HB
A wagon engine spec suitable for a short wheelbase (9' or 10') wooden or steel 2-axle seven plank open wagon with journal bearings, as used in the UK up to the 1980s. Uses real world values for surface area, moving friction coefficient and air drag coefficient.
Uses suspension settings appropriate for short wheelbase wagons limited to 45 mph. Set up with minimal braking to simulate a loose coupled unbraked wagon but with just enough brake effort to enable the handbrake to hold on a shallow gradient.
