aTT Temple Japanese
The temple located in Toyohashi was built in early 17th century and is made from over 8000 hand-curved wooden parts, most of them visible from outside. A roof is covered with copper and no nails were used. Popularly the temple is called “sanjunotou” which means three-fold pagoda. There are also five-fold pagodas in Japan.
