Jackie

Jackie is an 11-year-old African-American girl who lives in the suburbs with her grandmother. Her favorite activities include gymnastics, double Dutch skipping, drawing, and writing plays about herself. Her sense of neatness and organization often helps the kids solve their problems faster. Her biggest pet peeve is bugs and other slimy, creepy stuff. When she encounters them she responds by screaming 'Ew, ew, double eww!' When she needs to think, she paces. Like Inez, Jackie and Inez bouth think very fond Slider, which kind-of gets Matt jealous.

In a running gag, Jackie sometimes overreacts when they are in the middle of a crisis. This encourages Matt to taunt her by making an Oscar-like 'award goes to' comment. For example:

Jackie: Cyberspace is doomed, doomed, DOOMED!
Matt: And the award for best dramatic overreaction outburst goes to..... Jackie!
Jackie: Maaaatt, will you please cut it out?!
