Mamakating
Starting at Bloomingburg – South/East end of the Highview Tunnel to Summitville is prototypical of the O&W’s Mainline, which is now abandoned. There’s those two railfans again at the station.
Summitville
About 2 miles outside Mamakating is Summitville. Here is a junction between the mainline and the Fallsburg/Montrose Branch. Continuing along the line will keep you on the mainline to Pocono, Montrose and/or the other main city, Buffalo, NY. There is a fueling station here as well as some small divisional offices for the railroad.
Fallsburg/Montrose Branch
This line sees short freights for the Grain and Iron Plants at the end of the branch in Montrose. Passenger service usually consists of one RS-3 and two coaches and/or a sleeper that will be left at Summitville to be attached to the ends of the Long Distance Passenger Trains. Make sure whatever train you bring on here is not too long, the run-around sidings are not equipped to handle long trains. Fallsburg and the namesake tunnel are prototypical of the O&W’s Mainline. Between Fallsburg and Montrose you will see an abandoned branch veering off to the right. This 3-mile spur once went to the Meat Packing Plant in Montrose.
Fallsburg is a small town with a passing siding. Passenger trains stop here in both directions. Freights only pass through.
Montrose is the end of the branch; there is a grain industry here as well as a small manufacturing plant. This town is very small, due to the dwindling industry. However, the two surviving industries, where most residents work, get a fair amount of carloads. There is a small passenger service that serves Montrose, but only twice a week.

Pocono, PA
West to Buffalo
After Pocono, you will have an option to pass over to the Southbound Track and then take the switch onto the southbound section of the wye, which will bring you into the Metropolis of Buffalo.
Once you pass over the Niagara River, you will parallel an inlet of Lake Erie and Buffalo will be all around you.
Leaving BUFFALO FOR MONTAUK OR ANY OTHER POINT
Heading STRAIGHT OR NORTH AFTER POCONO, PA.
If you decide to bypass Buffalo, you will pass through Montague and back into Greenwood Lake, basically making a large circle.

I designed this route to be exactly that. A fictitious route based on real sections of real railroads. It’s taken about 5 months and lots of effort, but it was worth it. I hope this is a memorable add-on for Trainz.

I've updated the Erie Limited Route to be a little more friendly for users with slower systems.'
at Buffalo and at Montauk you will notice not as many buildings, but they have been replaced with one larger building that is less painful on framerates. I’ve also made some signal changes and some small scenery changes along the line.
In most cases the switches are named for the city or town they are located in. For instance, the switch name will be two letters and one number. The first letter of the switch name is the first letter in the name of the town, and the second letter being the last. Then the number of the switch denotes which one it is in that area. Example, at Montrose, the switches are named (ME1, ME2, etc.). Some towns are different, at Summitville; the switches are named and numbered as SV1, SV2, etc.
Industries generally will have their own switch/siding name, such as 'Greenwood Mining'.
Montauk is a fictional city, it was actually started from a previous map and I merged it with the new one. There are some custom content buildings in the section. Some examples are: Maple Leaf Gardens, The Empire Hotel, and European Commercial Building, just use the KUID to find it at the Trainz Download Station, as with all Custom Content.
