The L77 Tanks were built to a design by A. J. Hill- the last locomotive superintendent of the Great Eastern Railway- to replace aging 0-6-0Ts and 2-4-2Ts on suburban traffic in and around London. Two prototypes entered service in 1915, but due to the First World War further production couldn't ensue until 1921. A final batch emerged from Stratford Works in 1923-24, by which point the GER had become part of the LNER and the engines were reclassified 'N7'. Of the two prototypes, Nos 1000 and 1001, No. 1001 was the only one to be liveried in GER Blue. As mentioned above, due to WW1, production ceased until 1921. This is a reskin of knucklesnvector/rexeljet/notsoboxys' GER grey model in to GER blue No. 1001. Thank you to knucklesnvector/rexeljet/notsoboxy for the original mesh.
