LNER N5 No. 5409

LNER N5 No. 5409. This locomotive started life as the WM&CQR No. 17. When the GCR absorbed the WM&CQR in 1905 this loco was then numbered 409. The GCR then became part of the LNER at the grouping, this particular loco was re-liveried and renumbered to 5409 pre-WW2. After WW2 it was renumbered by the LNER to 9270 and consequently upon nationalisation it was numbered 69270 by British Railways. It survived until 1956. This model is a representation of the loco in its pre-war LNER livery. Thank you to camscott for allowing this reskin to be released.
