LNER N5 No. 9270

LNER N5 No. 9270. This locomotive started life as the WM&CQR No. 17. When the GCR absorbed the WM&CQR in 1905 this loco was then numbered 409. The GCR then became part of the LNER at the grouping and this loco was re-liveried and renumbered to 5409 pre-WW2. In 1933 it was rebuilt by the LNER. After WW2 it was renumbered to 9270 and consequently upon nationalisation it was numbered 69270 by British Railways. It survived until 1956. This model is a representation of the loco in its post-war LNER livery. Thank you to camscott for allowing this reskin to be released.
