My OverLook RR
The Overlook Railroad is a small fictional point to point railroad that runs from Hornby to Tioga with 2 branch lines. The first is an industial switching line Hornby to Ogden and the other is a logging spur from Tioga to Danville logging.
In additon there is a double track main line oval that passes through Hornby and Portland.
This layout was inspired by Chuck Barkman's fantastic Highland's Valley and his Highland's Valley 2004 Routes.
And I thank him for letting me use his routes as the basis of this route.
The idea is that you run trains from Hornby to Tioga and back to Hornby picking up and dropping off laods along the way. Then in Hornby the loads are sorted into consists for the industries at Ogden or sorted into consists to be pick up by a through freight.
My model railroad background will be evident as it is built for scenery and train watching.
