PKP ST45-03 301Dd CT.Bydgoszcz LOW

Around 2007-2008 PKP Cargo started the first larger renewal program for their fleet of locomotives. Several ST44 diesel locomotives took part in a major rebuilt programm with new engines, air-conditiioning, new cabs and random details. Similar program was designed for a group of ET22 freight electrics. Prototypical SM42 rebuilts were releases as well. Before Christmas 2009 first atempt of a serious modification to a SU45 diesel was finished. SU45-112 loco of 301Db type was rebuilt to ST45-01 freight locomotive. New MTU engine was installed, as well as air-condition, new cab, new electronics, windows etc. New type was classified as 301Dd and entered service in Grudziadz depot (Bydgoszcz region). Several other SU45 diesel await for the reconstruction with SU45-238 rebuilt to ST45-02 around March 2010. 3D KilanZiom, Textures: Makaron1970.
