This is a late version of of an SP SW1500, which has had much of the distinctive SP light package removed, and FRA mandated ditch lights installed. It also has a cab roof beacon installed for yard switching duties.
SW1500, and is very basic.

All dependencies are either built-in (TS12), come off the DLS, or can be found at RRMods.

LAJ is a terminal and switching company operating 64 miles of track at Los Angeles, CA connecting with UP and BNSF. The LAJ provides rail service for industries located in a 2,800-acre area once called the Central Manufacturing District (CMD), which includes the cities of Vernon, Maywood, Bell and Commerce.

History

The company was incorporated May 26, 1923 to lease and operate a private line built by the Central Manufacturing District, Inc.
