'The Parcel Sidings' is a very small modern image layout mainly to showcase modern image locos with DRS traction being the most predominant. It draws heavily on the Parcel Sidings next to York railway station. It's mainly used to stable locomotives between duties with the occasional visit from a Snowplough train or a Network Rail departmental vehicle. The era is based on 2016-2017 in the North of England.

I have taken the idea from the real model railway of this by Nick Gurney which was featured in Rail Express Modeller in June 2017. I have copied most of the layout into Trainz however some scenery items I am unable to match however I came up with the most suitable substitute for the respective items. I have also added additional scenery and overhead centenary to allow the showcasing of electric locomotives. The layout would mainly be a novelty in Trainz however is great for screenshots of your favourite locomotives or to show off a new release.
