Shelton Bar Operations SHEDMASTER (FULL route)

A session for the Potteries Loop Line FULL route intended for people who enjoy free roaming - no driving. It utilises the Shedmaster rule to illustrate the range of railway acitvities necessary to keep Shelton Iron and Steel operating. It covers not only the tasks performed by the locomotives of the private railway, but also the complementary arrivals and departures of LMS trains to and from the exchange sidings at Etruria and Grange Junction, and Stoke MPD.

The bustle of train movements are not orchestrated by a timetable. Rather the demands of the works are collected by Shedmaster and railway resources are managed dynamically to meet those demands. If the industry start conditions are altered, then the nature of the session - what happens on the railways and when - will change in response.

The session is the result of a collaboration between Andrew Howard (AndrewH) and Leigh Stokes (ElStoko) of the Rail-Sim team. Many thanks to Trevor Laughton (trev999) for creating and supporting many rules and driver commands that make the session possible.
