TGR DP Railcar - Green, with staff and ticket queues

Between the mid 1930s and early 1950s Tasmanian Government Railways placed into serice the 'DP' series of diesel railcars.
The model represents DP15 and DP16 manufactured by Waddingtons of Sydney in 1938/39. As with later models, a Gardner diesel engine (153HP in this case) was used with a rooftop radiator.
DP20 to DP24 (entered service 1944) were made to a similar design, and this model could be used to represent these running numbers also.
Green livery was used in the 1940s and 1950s, whereas the 1960s saw the railcars in red livery.
