NSW goods platform spline, timber, 8ft 2.5in (2.5m) above ground
A timber platform on steel supports 8ft 2.5in above ground level. In NSW the platform height approximates the wall height of open wagons used in the mid 20th century. Loading of bulk products to open wagons was suited to this height.
The spline endcap has timber steps from ground to the platform level.
