LMS Ex-LNWR Claughton 4-6-0 (1928-1948)
In 1928, the LMS changed their official livery- from now on, numbers would be worn on the engines' cabs rather than the tanks and tenders, and every engine that wasn't an express passenger engine would be painted black. The Claughtons were the only ex-LNWR locomotive to retain their passenger livery. There were no unofficial liveries after this point- the Claughtons were red and that was that.
