This tunnel connects to the Macdonald Tunnel East 39134:100374 with a short piece of Track Auran TS2009 Railsonly 523:1216 and then the short piece of track is covered with Macdonald Tunnel Spacer 39134:100376 located under track objects. You'll notice that the Macdonald Tunnel West only has a portal on one end. That's the way it's endended to be. The portal goes to the West side of the mountain and the non portal end connects to the Macdonald East portal. This tunnel was made for the MBC 2010 route by Cayden. The tunnel was requested by Charlielima.
The Mount Macdonald Tunnel, with a length of 14.7 km/9 Mi is the longest railway tunnel in the Americas. It was completed in 1988 after 4 years of work by the Canadian Pacific Railway.
It spans the Rogers Pass—a steep and narrow defile famous for its deadly avalanches- buy means of a straight tunnel under Mt. Macdonald.
