BR Class 08 Engineers Grey Batch 1

Built 1952-62 by crewe,darlington,derby,doncaster and horwich works. This batch1 has 1 exhauster boxs and the air box.

Class 08 in BR Civil Engineers Grey Livery; this livery was used on a number of 08s that were employed by the BR Civil Engineering department; applied progressively in the late 80s, this livery lasted well into the privatisation era.
