VR R Class E-spec - 5

Victorian Railways R Class was built by Beyer Peacock 1879 and Phoenix Foundary Ballarat 1881.

This e-spec is for the Locomotives built without airbrakes and handbrake only on loco and tender, independent brake represent handbrake, some of the Class got Steam Brakes and Westinghouse brakes fitted from 1883, in 1886 all where fitted with westinghouse brakes.

This physic is when they where reboilered to 140 PSI between 1896 to 1904.
