SAR 720 Class E-spec - 1

Physic for the South Australian Railways 720 Class Steam Locomotive built 1930, when stantionary use the blower to keep the pressure up, nominal pressure is 172 for 80% and 183 for 85% Boiler Pressure, cut-off range is 75 to 25%, coal shovel rate is high to represent a mechanical stoker, this physic also doesn't model a booster as boosters only work from about 15mph and slower.

This physic could be used for medium size Berkshire locomotives such as USA or other Countries that are similar in power, mainly suited for 4ft9in dia driving wheels, smaller wheels increase tractive effort, larger wheels decrease tractive effort (this is controlled with the bogie anim-dist and not with the cylinder volumes), this physic will take 700 tonnes to 45-50mph on 1in100 or less and 700 tonnes to 12-20 mph on a 1in45 or less.

Notes: Brake pressures are setup for Australian pressure specs, this should be cloned and pressures set to your needs.
