VR D T1d 1918+

Victorian Railways D Class Light Lines Passenger Locomotive was designed by Kitson & Co Engineering Leeds in England 1887 and was built by the Phoenix Foundry Ballarat from 1887 to 1888.

This model represents D 92 built by Phoenix Foundry Ballaarat and was the last D Class built taking up a number from one of the two wrecked Beyer Peacock locomotives, this locomotive was re-boilered on 24/10/1908 and had a 3 ton steel plate added under the floor for more adhesion and was allocated to North Melbourne locomotive depot around this time period. D 92 was withdrawn 17 May 1924 and was stored at Newport Workshops and later scrapped.
