VR D T1a 1924+

Victorian Railways D Class Light Lines Passenger Locomotive was designed by Kitson & Co Engineering Leeds in England 1887 and was built by the Phoenix Foundry Ballarat from 1887 to 1888.

This model represents the last few D class in service between 1924 to 1928, they where re-numbered to 190, 191, & 194 between May 1924 to July 1925. The first off register was number 190 on 13/06/1925, number 191 was taken out of service 10/11/1927, with number 194 taken out of service 07/11/1928, on 14/05/1920 number 122 was sold to the Koondrook Tramway and was re-aquired by the VR on 01/02/1952 and later scrapped at Bendigo, a few years before the start of preservation.
