VR S Flat T2 - 1970+

The first two S Wagons numbers 1 & 2 were built by the American Car & Foundry company in the U.S.A. and assembled at Newport workshops in 1925. The other 99 were converted from E wagons for wartime traffic between 1941 and 1942 and kept there original E numbers, E 1 was renumbered to S 203 as there was already an S 1. With a change in needs by the railways a large number were rebuilt back into E wagons between 1947-1949. From 1976 S 115 was fitted with 20ft I.S.O Container Brackets.

This model can represent numbers 50, 77, 108 and 115 between 1968 to 1976 in a dirty Wagon Red, Steps created by Zec.
