VR Platform - Cowies Creek
On 15-09-1890 Victorian Railways opened Cowies Creek Station for traffic 'known today as Corio', It had little passenger traffic. It was located at 39 1/2 mile from Melbourne at a height of 13.106 Meters of Hobsons Bay Low Water Mark.
The top of the platform is designed to go ground height while the rail goes below ground height, best used on 5m Grids, the platform is 12m wide to allow use on 10m grids, The station has been configured to load/unload post office mail and unload newspapers for the town of Corio.
