DRGW 89ft Tri-Level Late Open TTKX #

This asset was reskinned and uploaded with permission from majekear. Represents an unusual and very rare group of Rio Grande tri-levels. These were built by Portec in January 1974 and are technically RailPac prototypes. Only five of these were constructed and in real life emerged from the Novi, Michigan works without a roof, end doors, or the expanded mesh side screens found on other cars like this. Photos of these cars only exist in the 1970s as it is unknown if these were later updated or converted into a different rack type. Also of note these racks were affixed to Pullman F89CHW flatcars that were originally built in 1965.
