Weathered Shop 5 MBC065
The weathered shop is modelled after the Co-Op Store at the Western Development Museum in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada. During construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway through the mountains of British Columbia, Canada in the mid-1880s, town sites sprang up at the end of track to provide food, laundry and other services to the construction crew. Because the buildings were erected quickly and torn down and relocated when the end of track moved on, they were of crude construction and rarely painted. Polys 136.
