Maine Central-TRS2010 Vers 2.0
Complete Maine Central railroad route running Northeast from Portland to Skowhegan and Northwest to Berlin, NH. Experience a beautiful New England fall at the height of the color change with this Class I railroad. All mainline double track. Over 30 interactive Sp2 passenger stations. Many custom industries using both TRS and LARS Systems. This route contains about all of its trackage in the 1960s era. Route is well over 150 baseboards in size and requires a decent computer to handle graphics. - Many inter-related industries. An example is Dover Lumber company is a shrink wrap facilty that wraps raw lumber from lumber mills that is then transported to a transfer facility in Berlin,NH for points west. Others include Coastal Chemicals that provide sulfuric acid to paper industries; Complete Dairy handling facilities, etc.Basically a double track double dog-bone route with many sidings with custom industries. Many Maine unique industries such as B&M Beans, and Beach Cliff Sardines. With the generous permission of Wayne Cook (AKA gandy-dancer), the original author, I have taken over this layout in order to update it to TRS2010 standards and allow it to continue in Trainz. The original author still retains all copyrights for this great layout. Unlike previous versions from the orginal author this layout contains only content that can be found on the DLS. For a list of changes from the previous version, or to provide comments and feedback on the layout, visit the official Maine Central-TRS2010 thread on the Auran Forums at: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=69120
