The Loops-TRS2010

Appalachian mountain railroading at it's best, especially for you Norfolk Southern fans! This is Norfolk Southern's Appalachian crossing from Old Fort, North Carolina to Black Mountain, North Carolina in the heart of the Great Smokies of the United States, set in the late fall of the year and done from DEM's and USGS maps. Industries on the line are ProtoLARS. This route was originally part of the Southern Railroad. The route was described in some detail in a September 2006 issue of Trains magazine. Many thanks to all the creators who make these routes possible. With the generous permission of George Fisher (AKA gfisher), the original author, I have taken over this layout in order to update it to TRS2010 standards and allow it to continue in Trainz. Recommended for higher end computers as it is quite detailed. The original author still retains all copyrights for this really great layout. To provide comments and feedback on the layout visit the official The Loops-TRS2010 thread on the Auran Forums at: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=70070
