UAZ-469 - Soviet passenger terrain vehicle (SUV) manufactured by the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.
The main vehicle commander in the Soviet Army, as well as in the countries of the Warsaw Pact, since the mid-1970s, replaced in that capacity predecessor GAZ-69. Serial production models UAZ-469 and UAZ-469B launched in December 1972.
