RGS #41

The #41 is a C-19 Class Consolidation locomotive built in 1881 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. The #41 started her service with the D&RG RR as #409 and was given the name Red Cliff (later named Red Buttes). In 1916 she was sold to the Rio Grande Southern and re-numbered #41. She served the RGS from 1916 to 1951. In November of 1951 she was sold to Knott's Berry Farm where she still operates passenger trains to this day.
