RCH 1923 7 Plank JD Firmston #54

This wagon is a standard RCH 7 Plank wagon (16ft 6ins x 8ft 0ins x 4ft 4ins) with side, end and top cupboard style doors. It was built by the Butterly Company in October 1924 and was part of a batch numbered 52-57. Interestingly it is lettered 'Richmond LSWR' although the London and South Western Railway had ceased to exist almost two years earlier.
