RCH 1923 7 Plank Maltby #1898

Maltby Colliery near Rotherham, South Yorkshire is still being worked to this day. Unfortunately I know little about this wagon, except that it is a standard RCH 1923 7 plank (16ft 6ins x 8ft 0ins x 4ft 4ins) with side, bottom and end doors. The model is based upon a 4mm/ft version by John Hayes, although I suspect now it should be an 8 Plank version.

Note that after 1940 PO wagons were repaired using unpainted planks and would not have been seen in this condition in the 1950s and 1960s.

This asset is error free in T:ANE.
