SJ E8 1756 sway

SJ E8 1756 sway

4 pieces 3 cylinder freight locomotives with max speed set to 60 km/h and pulling force 9.8 Mp were purchased from Hanomag, Germany in 1922 to be used for the growing
freight traffic at private HNJ railways. The locomotives got class G10 (G = freight train, 10 = pulling force). When SJ bought HNJ the locomotives got E8 class.
The locomotives continued to be active at the same path until the late 50s.
E8 1756 was scrapped in Kalmar in 1974.

4 stycken 3 cylindriga godstågslok med STH 60 km/t och dragkraften 9,8Mp inköptes från Hanomag, Tyskland år 1922 till att användas för den ökande
godstrafiken på HNJ. Loken littererades till G10 (G= godståg, 10=dragkraft). När SJ övertog HNJ så littererades loken om
till E8. Loken fortsatte att vara verksamma vid samma bana framtill slutet av 50-talet.
E8 1756 skrotades i Kalmar 1974.
