SJ E11 1850 sway

SJ E11 1850 sway

The private railway company BJ built during 1930 three units of freight train steam locomotive (M3s) for
heavy freight train traffic. Max speed set to 70 km/h, and with pulling power 16.1 Mp. They went mainly between Gothenburg-Amal.
When SJ bought BJ 1948 they were renamed to E11 and made their last service in Dalarna during the 1960th.
All E11 locomotives were scrapped in 1975.


Det privata järnvägsbolaget BJ lät år 1930 bygga 3 stycken tunga godstågsånglok (M3s)
för tung fjärrgodstågs trafik. STH sattes till 70 km/t och med dragkraften 16,1 Mp. De gick huvudsakligen mellan Göteborg-Åmål.
När SJ köpte BJ år 1948 omlittererades de till E11 och gjorde sin sista tjänst i Dalarna under 1960-talet.
Alla loken skrotades 1975.
