SJ W2 1622

This type of locomotive was produced a total of 11 pieces between 1915-1936: TGOJ (8), Ystad-Eslovs Railway (2) and Landskrona-Lund-Trelleborg Raliway (1)
When SJ took over the locomotive from YEJ and LLTJ they were renamed SJ W2 and were deployed mainly in passenger traffic Malmo-Ystad Kalmar-Alvesta.
They were used in service until the mid 1950s.
Maximum speed was 90 km/h.
One locomotive is preserved at a museum in Sweden.
Modelled steam loco (SJ W2 1622) was built in 1923 and was scrapped during the year 1967 in Vislanda.

Då SJ övertog loken från YEJ och LLTJ erhöll de littera W2 och sattes in främst på persontågstrafik Malmö-Ystad och Kalmar-Alvesta.
De användes i trafik framtill mitten av 1950-talet.
Största hastighet sattes till 90 km/t.
Ett lok finns bevarat på museum i Sverige (Grängesberg).
Modellerade lok, SJ W2 1622, byggdes 1923, och skrotades 1967 i Vislanda.
