SJ steam loco types Cc and Cd, later later renamed C, were produced totally in a number of 79 during the years 1892-1903.
Additionally, 5 Cb locomotives were rebuilt to type Cc. Many of the locomotives were fitted with superheaters and renamed Cd.
Cc engines were impressive thing for its time with max speed set to 90 km/h and the same dimension on the drive wheels as SJ F (188 cm diameter).
The tensile force on the other hand was not as impressive as they were eventually replaced by SJ A locomotive when passenger trains became heavier and heavier during the early 1900s.
Modeled C 419 was scrapped in 1956.
Today there are one Cc (404) preserved in Gavle Railwaymuseum and it is working.


SJ Ångloks typ Cc,Cd senare omlittererat till C tillverkades till ett antal av 79 under åren 1892-1903.
Dessutom byggdes 5 Cb lok om till Cc. Flera av loken försågs med överhettare och littererades Cd.
Cc loken var imponerande tingestar för sin tid med STH 90 km/t och samma dimension på drivhjulen som SJ F (188 cm diameter).
Dragkraften däremot var inte så imponerande så de ersattes så småningom av SJ A lok då passagereartågen blev tyngre och tyngre under början av 1900-talet.
Modellerade C 419 skrotades 1956.
Idag finns ett Cc (404) bevarat på Sveriges Jänvägsmuseum i Gävle.
