This session reproduces a historic occasion in modern US train history: the first commercial double stack trip over Donner Pass on the 19 November 2009 after the track and tunnel upgrades completed by UPRR. Now tunnels after Colfax have been enlarged and reworked to accommodate the 22ft high double stacks and 20.2ft Autoracks. Ground Crew are positioned at the entrance to each tunnel to ensure all goes well.

You take over IOAOG-19 for the leg from Roseville to Sparks where you hand off to a new crew for the onward journey. Before departure the leading three locomotives must be refuelled so that is you first job of the day. The rear end DPU has been refuelled ready for the trip by the Yard Crew.

Questa sessione riproduce il primo servizio commerciale di treni con carri container a doppio piano sulla Donner Pass, svoltosi il 19 Novembre 2009, dopo la revisione del tracciato e dei tunnel a cura della UPRR. I tunnel dopo Colfax sono stati ampliati per consentire il passaggio ai carri Container a 2 piani da 22 piedi ed agli Autorack a tre niani da 20.2 piedi. C'è del personale di terra all'ingresso di ciascuna galleria per controllare che tutto sia regolare.

Partirai dal binario IOAOG-19 per la tratta da Roseville a Spark dove lascierai il reno ad un nuovo equipaggio per il proseguimento del viaggio. Prima di partire dovrai andare a rifornire le tre locomotive di testa come prima operazione della giornata. Le altre locomotive in composizione sono già state rifornite.
