November 19 2009 Double Stack HTML

This session reproduces a historic occasion in modern US train history: the first commercial double stack trip over Donner Pass on the 19 November 2009 after the track and tunnel upgrades completed by UPRR. Now tunnels after Colfax have been enlarged and reworked to accommodate the 22ft high double stacks and 20.2ft Autoracks. Ground Crew are positioned at the entrance to each tunnel to ensure all goes well.

You take over IOAOG-19 for the leg from Roseville to Sparks where you will hand off to a new crew for the onward journey. Before departure the leading three locomotives must be refuelled so that is your first job of the day. The rear end DPU has been refuelled ready for the trip by the Yard Crew.

Respect the speed limits: For every second that you exceed the speed limit, you'll get a penalty point.
Respect the signs: If you pass a red signal you will get a 100 point penalty.
