Weathered reskin of Tom Youngs BR BBA Steel Carrier

690 of these wagons were built at Ashford works between 1974 and 1980. Capable of carrying 75 tons of steel, they formed the backbone of BR's steel-carrying fleet over the next few decades. Many were modified for particular loads but represented here is an original condition BBA in the livery adopted from 1979 complete with Railfreight logos.
