Wagon Class - VASO

This type of wagon is used to carry bulk raw sugar from sugar mills in the Burdekin District of North Queensland to Townsville in North Queensland. They were normally used in Block trains of upto 30 wagons.

Used for only the sugar season (July - December), the wagons are stored in Townsville during the off season.
