These wagons are for the haulage of Coal in the Goonyella and Blackwater Coal systems in Central Queensland. They are marshalled in blocks of upto 60 wagons.
These wagons are fitted with Kwik Drop Doors. The doors open and close on ramps at the unloading facility. The wagons must travel in the direction shown on the outside of the wagon when loading and unloading. The wagons are Out of Gauge, which means that when travelling outside the coal systems the door opening mechanisms have to be detached.
