Virginian & Ohio Afton Division v3
Allen McClelland's Virginian & Ohio, the Afton Division, as it appeared in the January 1998 issue of Model Railroader magazine. Based on trackplans published in the V&O Story and in Railroad Model Craftsman, this is version 3 of this historic layout. Allen tore down this layout to model the Gauley Division, which itself met the torch in 2008. Some of this layout is embellished to give it a bigger feel, such as the industrial area of Afton.
