Yosemite Valley 4-4-0 23 tender

Yosemite Valley Railway operated a pair of 4-4-0's similar to this one, numbered 22 and 23. They were sufficient for the off-season passenger trains to Yosemite National Park of 2-3 cars. Heavier trains during vacation season required one of the freight locos. Tender for Baldwin Light and Medium 2-8-0s, 4-6-0s, and modern 4-4-0s.
