RS3 WM 191 v2
UPDATED graphics! The Western Maryland 'Fireball' RS3. WM owned 14 RS3's, 12 of which were delivered in the Fireball paint scheme, numbers 185-196. #197 and 198 were delivered in the Speedlettering paint that became standard in April 1954, just before the WM's 21 GP9's were delivered. This is the Alco RS3 Road Switcher. The RS3 is powered by the 12 cylinder 244 Prime Mover giving 1600 Horse Power. The RS3 was produced by Alco during the years 1950 to 1956. This is the second most popular Alco engine produced with 1,418 units made during the production run. Modeled for use in TrainZ by Mark Hoffman.
