RSD12 LS&I 1853

Lake Superior & Ishpeming operated four RSD12's (#1801-1804) purchased in three different orders between 1957 and 1963. In the 1970's, four former C&O RSD12's (#6700-6703) were added via the B&O (#2007-2010) and LASCO. Originally numbered 1800 and 1805-1807, they were later renumbered 1850-1853. ALCO DL-701 or RS-11.. Engine 1800Hp. Model 251B.
