GP9 Yosemite Valley 51 tiger stripe
The Yosemite Valley Railway was abandoned in August of 1945 and thus did not last long enough to dieselize. But if it had, what would it have owned and what paint scheme would it have used? It seems that several western railroads used variations on the tiger stripe scheme. Also popular out west was a solid color with the ends of the unit being a different color. Both AT&SF and SP used both schemes at one point or another. Here is one suggested adaptation. Uses Justin Cornell's EMD Blomberg trucks from the F7 available from Jointed Rail.
