U28B P&LE 2811 v3 large

The Espee purchased the first actual production U28B's, which looked just like U25B's... BUT the first units that made it into service were Pittsburgh & Lake Erie's 22-unit fleet, numbered 2800-2821. Over the years, many variations of P&LE's paint schemes were applied with varying consistency. This unit models P&LE's first attempt at its own paint scheme that didn't appear to be a patch job, right around the mid-1970's.
