RS3 C&O 5601

C&O briefly owned 2 RS2's in May 1949 and sold them in October 1950 to Lehigh Valley. Then they went back in April 1955 and bought 2 RS3's, but kept them until they were traded in to GE in August 1968, probably on the C&O's second order of U30C's, #3304-3312. They were usually operated on mine runs as a pair, running shorthood forward, unusual for an eastern road.
