TR4A C&O 6600
Chesapeake & Ohio owned a pair of TR4's (A-B sets of SW7's, also known as a cow-and-calf), each producing 2400 HP, for working the steep mine branches in the are of Pikeville, KY. The two pairs replaced about 15-20 2-6-6-2 Mallets. Occasionally, they would couple together, combining 4800 HP.
