RSD12 Chesapeake & Ohio 6700

C&O operated ten RSD12's, numbered 6700-6709. They were renumbered 2007-2016 by 1967 and then sold to B&O in 1969. Four units, 2007-2010, were sold to Lasco Development (subsidiary of LS&I) in 1972, immediately leased to C&NW, relettered for LS&I in 1974, being renumbered 1800, and 1805-1807 a year later and renumbered 1850-1854 following a 1978 rebuilding. Units 2014 and 2016 were sold to Lasco, then sent to Utah Railway as their 600 and 601 in 1974. The rest were traded in to GE in 1972. ALCO DL-701 or RS-11. Engine 1800Hp. Model 251B. This is an N&W modified first model type.
