SD40 B&O 7593

B&O owned 17 SD40's, 7482-7494 and 7497-7500. In 1975 the 7400-series was renumbered to 7582-7594, 7597-7599. The 7582-7590 ended up going to CNJ.
The SD40 can be said to have been the mainstay of the rail systems through the 70s and 80s, good pulling power with reliabile maintenance cycles.
